w123 front shock lower bolts

Can someone please tell me the size of these bolts and can I still get them from MB? Installed new Sachs shocks last year, didn't use locktite and had the two on the passenger side back out.

Was hoping I could still buy from MB, i think the 12pt head made it easy to install. But need to fix this asap, might just run down to the hardware store and buy some bolts.

Thanks for any help...

The bolts are a 10mm 12 pt. don`t know the thread size, pitch.

I bet the thermostat bolts or the one`s that hold the fan to the WP would be the same thread size. not to use but for the thread pitch when you go to the HD ware store. you probably won`t find a 10mm 12pt, a dealer item only. or if someone might have one laying around.

Hello PNP.

Pull one of the bolts out of your fan clutch, same size. Or pull one from the other side!

The threads are much bigger than the thermostat or fan bolts. To remove these lower shock bolts you need a half inch drive 10mm socket with a 6" extension, the top of the shock must be loose and free to swing forward and aft because with it straight up you cannot get on it.

I was able to do a front shock swap with just a 3/8's drive ratchet, but you need that thin walled 12 point socket.
