Hmmm that's one large lady in your yard. Good thing she didn't decide to modify the bodywork on any of your cars.

The Don: Tell me what you did there because I couldnt figure it out.

T.Walgamuth: I think youre right about that. This time of the year, theyre moving down from the mountains. That was a small moose; FOR A MOOSE. If you notice, their bodies are above the hood line of an average car, so that when you hit them, they go through the windshield.

Wow. I would love to see a moose for real. My hiking bud just saw a mountain lion on the
trail we hike 4x a week. Damn I've been hiking that trail for 5 years, never saw any thing
but a bobcat. He is a noob, and gets to see a lion up close. I'm jealous.Pfftttt.

personally I'd rather see a bobcat than something which might mistake me for lunch.

Really? The Benz? Around here the moose are discussing rollover protection systems for compact tractors, like the one near you barn.

When we came down through Maine a few years back we saw some moose beside the road. We stopped and backed up, hoping for a better view of the juvenile and his mom. Another place we stopped and got out of the car to find a muddy place with a huge number of tracks. We called it the Moose convention site.

I have also seen moose beside the road near Yellowstone. Lovely country out there.
