I'm looking for the part number of these grommets located on the passenger side firewall near the battery and Hood hinge. This is for a 1983 300d. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

A BW member gave me this part number. 123 997 32 81. Hopefully it is the same number you ordered.

Just to update. I've determined that I have to replace four additional grommets and have so ordered them.

For informational purposes, I am listing the part numbers of the rubber pieces that can deteriorate and should be replaced for a water tight firewall. The picture and part numbers have been taken off my 1983 300D.

A) 123 997 32 81 Main Electrical Right grommet
B) 123 997 12 81 A/C Refrigerant Line grommet
C) 123 832 36 94 Cowl Drain Tubes
D) 007 997 58 81 or 110 997 14 81 Speedometer Cable grommet
E) 123 997 11 81 Oil pressure Gauge line and vacuum line grommet
F-1) 123 301 04 97 Accelerator Pedal linkage boot
F-2) 123 462 13 96 Steering shaft boot with power steering
G) 123 997 07 81 main electrical cable left grommet - (below the fuse box)
H) 123 880 01 59 Hood release cable assembly - grommet is not sold separately.

You live in GA and are doing a temporary AC delete? Can I have your cold air while you aren't using it?

haha if I had it I would be using it believe me! I just swapped the evil servo system for a 240d manual system that's been in my garage for 6+months.

I figured out all the heat and vent wires/connections but the AC wires were sliced and I have no compressor, dryer etc. Im just trying to get the car drivable without engine bay air coming inside

I don't really know if there is a different grommet, but I assume there is because the A/C hose grommet has three pre-cut holes in them. It would be unusual for the factory to use that grommet on a non-A/C car.
I tried searching for a part number, but I haven't been able to find one. The firewall grommet parts number in the EPC are associated with the wire/hose/line that passes through it. There is no separate firewall grommet lookup. Perhaps someone with a non-A/C care can do us a favor, and look and post the numbers on the grommet for us all.
