What the he'll is this leaking?

I can see the fuel thermostat leaking, but on the right side of the thermostat it is dripping too. No clue of they even sell a gasket for that! Would help if someone can identify so I can order it.

Camera moves too much, but drips are in more than one location... probably, the dv valves are seeping

I've always been terrible with pictures and videos.. The delivery valves do leak too. So does the thermostat. But there's another leak there too on the back side of the pump that leaks fuel Which confused me.

One mechanic told me "fix what you see then move on to the next thing." That has generally been good advice unless for example you do a valve job complete with head R&R only to discover you need rings too.

With that much fuel all over the IP it’ll be impossible to narrow down where the leak is.

Spray everything with two cans of brake clean and start from there.

I hear ya.. It is a mess. I put it off for too long. I wasn't driving the car. Bought it that way and had no clue it was that bad till I drove it for a week.

In the meantime let's celebrate that fantastic design of long thin glow plugs into the prechamber since one glow plug broke off in the head too. (100% sarcasm)

I would say that you should start at the highest point of the leak. As your camera swings across the delivery valves in your video, I can't tell for sure but they look pretty moist to say the least. I would suggest you take care of them first and then work from there. When my delivery valves started to leak, everything below that point was wet with diesel and it was impossible to tell where it was coming from. The fuel would seep out of the delivery valves, and then work its way down and towards the back of the engine. Good luck!!!

Ugh, I do hope that works out well in the end. Do you plan to get the special tool kit and extract, or farm that out to a shop that does have the kit, or pull the head?

I think I'm gonna run it with 5 plugs until in the future I can get that kit. I'm not sure how expensive it is. Have you ever used it before?

I've seen a couple YouTube videos, but never used one or bought one. My plan was to find a local shop that has one of the kits and pay them to do the deed, if I broke off a plug in my '95. I suspect the kits are around $300 or more.

Yeah I hear ya. I'll have to see if one of tech's in my dealer has one and see if he'll let me borrow it. They usually never had issues with the glow plugs and just used shop air and an impact. The one time I decide to use a lousy ratchet I screwed myself. I also didn't want to tow the car to my shop to work on it.

Echoing what others have said already, fix what you can see leaking, then clean up and look for more leaks. You could be chasing a leak from somewhere you aren't even expecting or doesn't exist in the location you're seeing the drip.
