Roy ,
You have plenty on your plate now. No need to go looking further a field !!
The bus & the 190 should keep you out of mischief for a while !!

I just love the Rennabteilung Truck. Was this for real as a production vehicle?

That is the story. Two comments:
1. The various body parts were cut out of stock bodies so that stock glass and other parts could be employed in the constuction of the hauler.
2. I had remembered apparently incorrectly that the engine was a straight eight from the SLR racer but apparently that was not correct.

It's a really cool piece. I have fantasized about building something similar using a greenbriar corvair body as the basis.

Too bad I don't have a spare several mil lying about to fund all my wonderful ideas!

What are your plans with it?

Found this on craigslist

Always wanted to make one into a service truck.
Time and money being the deciding factor.

Cant make a car hauler out of it-Dont/wont have a commercial license in Texas, a ticket gives a trucker compound problems here because of a screwd up law they never corrected. Im thinking a great big pickup with a 12 ft bed as wide as I can pull off--With wood sides done nice and wood rear running boards/dually rear fenders. and trick 19.5 metrics on alloys
