Its under the dash by the foot brake, I cant see anything nearby where it could reach to plug into. Ive been chasing a no speedometer issue and found this as well as the other picture where it looks like the previous owner wired something in, any help or thoughts are much appreciated. thanks

Perhaps the first plug is power for the backlight on the light switch escutcheon?

The 2nd pic is of the seatbelt / lights on buzzer. Not sure what wire that is connected to, but perhaps the PO is picking off the door switch wire there for an aftermarket alarm or something?
