I hope not too wet, but the red zone looks serious. Man the bilge Pumps.

I have left side windows down and had it rain inside before, but not to the point things got siaked.

We left the rear window open on our 85 Mazda 626 one time. Damed Tom Cat got in the car and wet on the back seat. Luckly he wet on a Sweat Shirt and not the seat. would have never got the smell out if it was the seat.

We are sure to checks all the vehicles now.

oh man. we're ALWAYS diligent about the windows. the neighbors have a cat that knows our dogs are too old to chase it. to kill the musty smell from leaky sunroof i use one of these: Wagan EL2022 Ionic Air Purifier : Amazon.com : Automotive

it works way better than others i've used.

Did the same thing on Friday. Sun was shining, got home from work and tore apart the wife's car to do brakes when the sky instantly turned black and some really severe rain set in. I had no choice but to work in the rain to get the brakes done (she needed the car). Got into some dry clothes and was about to go for a test drive when I realized I had left the sunroof open the whole time. console full of water, change tray full of water, dash, seats, you name it - soaked. Best of all it shorted out my radio. Now when I get into my car the windows are fogged up on the inside and it feels like a tropical jungle until I get it aired out.

An open moonroof is a landing zone for bird droppings, had it happen ONCE while sitting in traffic in my SD several years ago, now I never open mine! I tilt it sometimes, but thats all. Windows yes...but never when parked (outside of the garage)
