The tach on my 84 300SD came disconnected when I bought it. I don't know why someone would do that.
You have the right wires. To reconnect the tach, the plug is right behind the tach. It will plug in only one way. |

Bobco,
I just took my instrument cluster out to take a look. The tach harness runs into a bundle of harnesses. From there I can't tell what happens to it. With cluster out, I'll try to fix the clock now. Let's see if someone else can help. |
