I asked how long a blower motor should last, had 44 views but no responses, so I figured I'd rephrase the question.....

How long has your blower motor been working properly (not the motor per se, but the regulator which causes the blower motor speed and everything to work properly)? My replacement blower regulator only lasted 6 years, which is causing the blower motor to go from low setting to high; I can't get a proper lower speed. 6 years is not long enough for that part that costs $250 and is difficult to get to and to take out. Seems like this part should last for 15-20 years.
