1982 240D Vacuum Troubleshooting

This 240D has a manual transmission and manual climate control. To help narrow future searches.

I replaced the main vacuum supple hose from the pump to the booster hoping that would help my vacuum issue since the original was broken. It did not. I verified that the vacuum shut off valve on the IP works and it does work well when given vacuum from a mity vac.

I installed the new part last weekend, unbolted the old, bolted the new hose on. No way to screw that up. So now I guess I have to go through the vacuum system.
