Looking for 1980 300d Vacuum Modulater

I'm working on my transmission for my 80 300d and was looking for a replacement vac modulator, but for some crazy reason I can't find any. Ive checked most online mercedes part stores, ebay and even my local dealer and nothing. The one I did find was about $100 bucks and that just too expensive. Does anyone know if these particular modulators are just rare, been discontinued, or just temporarily unavailable? And if you know where to find one please share.
