I think my w124 300TDt has a little bit of Christine in him...

My wagon, Klause, has been suprising me by self-healing lately. First it was the trouble I had with getting him to start after I replaced the head - for weeks it wouldn't run. After leaving it alone for a month, I tried it again and he started right up (with really no effort on my part).

Then this morning - I noticed the low coolant lamp went out. It had been on since I got the car running a month ago - had determined the sensor was probably bad (lamp went out when I unplugged it - coolant is not low, it's full). The lamp is good because it cycles thru when I start the car.

I'm hoping to start seeing the rust go away and the odometer rolling backwards, etc, etc. Just hope I don't strangle to death in the drivers seat.
