After I was installing my new heated seats and wiring, I noticed that my hazard and blinkers do not work when I installed the new switch panel. Each time I put a fuse in #5 under the hood it blows immediately no matter what the amp fuse I try. My experience is telling me that I have a short somewhere or it's grounding out. Are the pins exactly the same for the hazard switch in a 96 and a 98? Everything worked before I switched center console switches with a 1998 E430 bezel since it had the heated switches I needed and was in better shape.
