WTB 81-84 w126/w201 door lock vaccum pump

#126 800 0348 or #000 800 0348

Pick and Pull charges $6.99 (if I could find one) and a google search shows new ones available for $172.80. Id be happy to pay $30 for a good used one if anyone has a working one they would sell.

I have one I pulled from my parts car before I scrapped it, still sitting in the garage.

I have no idea what it'd cost to ship to wherever you are though, so you might be money ahead to get one from Pick N Pull.

I am in California (95687). As long as it still works paying shipping is probably cheaper than 3-4 gallons of diesel to drive to any pick and pull that has the right car.

Check the connector to make sure it is compatible. The earlier SD's vac pump had a two wire connector and the later ones had 3. Make sure it will mate up with your SD.

The part numbers I posted are the correct ones for my car, it has a single 3 wire plug.

That should work. I just purchased one for an 81 SD and was sent the wrong one because I did not give them the stock number. They replaced it with the proper one with no static and it works fine.

Let us know how it goes. I think I paid about $100.

I'll have to look at what part number is on the pump I salvaged, as well as powering it up to see if it actually works.
I pulled it from a front end collision car that I bought for the power train, and then salvaged just about every thing else from before letting the wreckers have it.

If need be, I can also check the local Picknpull for you, as we have one only a couple of miles from where I am.

In in Vacaville. It would still probably be cheaper to send it though.

That's why we try to keep an eye out for each other. Just saved some shipping charges.
