oil guage leak

so decided to replace the oil pressure hose going to the oil gauge.
the previous owner had it disconnected and a bolt where the hose connected to the oil filter holder. so i replace it...twenty min job. started tilly up. yeah oil pressure gauge works and perfect went out driving this morning weee..still worked. drive more...oh know the dreaded oil leak form with in the oil pressure dial. is there a fix for this or do i need to but that side of the instrument panel.
