True, that is what my dad used to do for the 'up yours' signal if somebody cut you off in the car but these days we have switched to the more international standard of the one index finger for 'up yours'

Thats out of date, single finger is more of an insult. 2 fingers will depend on how they are placed, if they are up right & a V it could just mean victory. Palm facing up, fingers initial horizontal & moved up in an arch & it means "up yours". now thats coming from an Australian !
