Massive Oil Leak

So my car ('92 300D) leaked about 5-6 quarts of oil in the last month or so. Here's a video of the drippage.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDeZdXX6naI&feature=youtu.be

Pretty insane. I know.

Any ideas where it might be coming from? The video shows just below the IP. It's dripping onto the motor mount. That's the fuel thermostat (or whatever it's called) in the picture as well.

Also, I'm not sure how the oil pressure gauge in the car is suppose to read. But as of right now it will go up to 3 while I'm accelerating and it will drop with each gear shift to around 1-2 (exactly in time with the rpm's) until I reach a steady speed it will drop to 0 or just above 0.

My night vision just isn't what it used to be.

Any chance you could brighten things up a bit?

Bottom cover or back cover on the injection pump?

On my 602 oil pressure is never less than 1.5 like yours pegs at 3 when cold or accelerating once at running temp 1.5 then up to 3 accelerating.

That's a nasty leak, any way you can look up more since it seems to be generated from your IP? Is the inspection plug tightened its in the picture in front of the leak? Only thing above should be stop valve they leak a bit, back of IP pump should be fairly easy to narrow down.

VIDEO RESPONSE!

I find it easiest sometimes to show rather than tell.

Heres the online manual for your car. You should be able to find a diagram there

You need one of these to see the source of the oil leak.

Ok, sorry it's been a while. Also, I know this picture looks like a 4-year-old did it, but hopefully it makes sense. I think the leak is coming from the seam to the left of the green line.

So my question is, can the part circled in red be removed easily? As in, are there any springs or delicate parts in there that I will mess up if I remove it? and can it be removed with the IP in the car?

Thanks so far!
