Replacement Condensor

What does one do if the condenser needs to be replaced? Is there a preference?

Mine got bent and the fan smashed, but A.A.A. refused to pay. It has been fine on the freeway, but now seems to be lacking. I know the high side fill valve needs to be replaced, but thought the cap keep them sealed. However, now suspecting I am wrong, but don't have means to check away from home. But, can still get the parts ordered.

So figure take lemons and make lemonade! Since the refrigerant most likely needs to be replaced might as well replace the condensor. If I do that, need to replace the drier, so then that means installing a pressure switch.

That brings me to another question. Someone mentioned they had switched from a temperature switch to a pressure switch, which requires drilling into the drier element. Is there a part number and method?

Thank you so very much!

There is a pressure switch already on the dryer, rather than drilling, just use a fitting tee...

Upgrade to a parallel flow condenser. ROLLGUY makes
Hoses for his kits or you can hit up a local hose shop and have them make you something

Ah! So then the fan then gets put in the circuit? Or, what do you mean by a T fitting?

The issue is that he only takes cash so the Postal System took the $300. I still can't believe I fell for sending cash in the mail.

How about this? I know pricy, but the research is done. Condenser Kit W123 | Klima Design Works
