Anyone on route have any parts cars I can grab from let me know! Most points on the maps are junk yards I am going to check out. Stopping in Michigan to pick up a good friend that in with us, taking my buddy to see family in Alabama and Colorado. Will be updating with photos and stories!

You'll be a bit too far west for us, too. We're right on the Atlantic seashore.

Consider this route from Appleturkey to Page : MapQuest Maps - Driving Directions - Map

I am 6 hours north of Des Moines. I have a guest cabin on the lake, but it is quite a ways off your route.

Well Cooljay, you will be coming very close to my place when you are on I-69 in central Indiana. I am 30 miles straight north of down down Indy and about 15 miles straight west of Anderson, Indiana. Have two good P & P here in Indianapolis and I would gladly take you to both of them. I also have a lot of W123 parts you might be interested in. I have great set of 14" tires you can have for free. We could drive to the P&P in my super nice 240D 4speed manual with a great running 617 Turbo. Can't put you up overnight but come on over and have a cool one and an excellent dinner. You and your friends of course. If you are camping an excellent camp ground is very close by. Across the road is Indiana's newest Indian Heritage Park, also Historic Conner Prairie is about 10 mile from here. If you want my phone number and name and address and driving directions, please PM me.

That would be nice to stay on the lake, we have to be back on the 5th, so don't think we have the time for that detour......would be nice!

Bypassing Austin on a road trip should be a crime...

You get to hang with Jim? Now I'm jealous...

I'm about 15-20 hours off your route. I have almost nothing that you need. I can fix a good macaroni.
