Rainbow!

So we didn't get to a camp spot till midnight, 12 miles down dirt roads at night....away from all towns....tottally fun!!! and the euro lights are the best!

welcome to denver!

Car has been doing excellent, not burning one drop....starting every time and giving me 25mpg. Stopped at the JY's....didn't find anything....just a gas door vac pod.....but I found a w126 with euro lights, was side swapped so a one headlamp was destroyed but got the lenses!

Well back on the road!!

Nice pictures Cooljay. If you made it up and over Wolf Creek Pass it must be running pretty good. From Denver to our home via I-70 is right at 1050 miles. But you are going the long way and it will be a bit more. Well, hurry on, and we'll leave the lights on for you.

Thanks all!!!

Yeh he is doing really great, besides the darn washer jets always messing up.....getting so many bugs on the windshield, I am not able to see.

I noticed a few oil drops when we stopped, I know the ip to block gaskets needs replacing but this was up in the front, maybe the front seal is leaking....so much crud up there I just can't tell from where.

vstech, I would be up there in a heart beat if I had the funds! I have a matching set, just one of the used tires I bought for those two, was worn to un even for a comfortable trip....and they were smaller then the front....so couldn't switch them to the rear.

We are currently in York, Nebraska...

So not much here to see or in Kansas.....just fields of corn and prairies....

We camped in Mccok, NE....well tried too....it was sooooo humid...Got in at 12:20am

This is awesome, behind all those trees, was a dry creek bed, I decided to go check it out, as we heard a train back there....I seen a car sticking out of the edge of the creek. Went up and found a huge mangled pile of cars, there was a nash, plymouths, a spectra....all kinds....its like when they built the track that was elevated...they just pushed them all in the creek....found a old 55 license plat, tiny tiny blue vicks bottle, medicine bottles, 10 cent fodgers coffee can....I was looking around for a mercedes

Finally in Dothan Alabama and now I have time to post an update...

So our last camp out was in Iowa....That was fun, GPS had me on a dirt road that ended up in a corn filled and this was at least an 1am....that was fun! Got so tired and almost out of gas, that we just said hell and was heading back to a walmart...when we discovered a camp ground on a lake. Finally sleep time!!

This is how we camp in the car.

Welcome to Michigan...oh my bad "pure" michigan :p

Welcome to Lake Michigan, South Heaven.

more in a moment!
