Just to let anyone interested know, I've got my 81 300D for sale in the cars for sale section. I think it has a head gasket leaking, but it starts and runs if you can stand listening to the backfire like popping every few seconds. Lots of new/newer parts. Good Michelin's, interiors pretty good, have all receipts and box of new parts to go with it. It started popping on the way home last fall, had it towed to the house, and now it's up for sale. Not parting it out. $750 firm. Will even have it towed within 100 miles of my house with my AAA for any member on this forum (nobody else, though). See the "Cars for sale" section of this forum. I could fix it, but I've got other projects and a bad back, so it's up for grabs. My number, name and address is in that post. A lot more info there, too. Lee
