Does anyone know the spec for the exhaust bolts w123 Turbo?
When I did my exhaust from the front pipe back a few months ago on my '85 300d, I tried to get a full install hardware kit but they were NLA, so I ended up piecing together a kit from three sources.
However, I had to re-use the bolts at the flange between the front (down) pipe and the middle section as what I was sold (by the dealer, ugh) were too short. Unfortunately, the flange is a bit thicker on the Ansa pipe than on the stock and the bolts were barely long enough (even with a thinner flange they would have barely worked). We had a hell of a time mating up the two sides firm enough to get them bolted. Seems one nut has now sheared off. Does anyone know the spec for these bolts? Rather than try to order I would just as soon visit the local professional fastener distributor.... Or if someone has an accurate part number?
