1991 350SD need help with her brake light

Yes. My car is still running thanks to all members who encouraged me to hand on to the car. The speedometer suddenly stopped a couple of weeks ago and I am looking for one to replace it. It doesn't bother me that much because I don't need to know how fast I am moving in New York (speed limit is 25 miles/hour from next week on). Now the brake light didn't work. My mechanic said that the switch was broken. He call it brake switch or stop light switch. He tried to locate it for one week and they kept sending him the wrong switch, even the Mercedes dealer. Now I can't use the car because of this switch. I posted in the parts section WTB brake light switch but no respond. Anyone can direct me how and where I can get that part? Or any switch that I can use instead. Thanks for your help as always.
