An instrument cluster from 190e be used in a 190d?

I found an instrument cluster add Pick-n-Pull for a gas 190e and I'm curious if I could put that in my 190d? Will any mods have to be made? Also, can I use the tank have a gas 190e am I diesel?

speedometer may show a wrong speed because of a different axle/transmission

what about the preglow light?

You also get an ECONOMY gauge (it's just a simple vacuum gauge)

Also the tach will be wrong. Diesels use a very different pulse count to the gas cars.

Depending on year, the outside thermometer may or may not be compatible, believe it or not. The fuel gauge will work, but will likely read “unleaded fuel only”. The tach won’t be compatible, and of course, the speedo will read wrong. Other than that, the bits will be compatible.
