Need help with wiring the key switch on om617
I've got a 1981 Mercedes 300d, wiring was hacked out beyond repair and gone, I havemost everything retired but can't seem to figure out how to wire the key switch, the back of the key switch pigtail has 7 wires I'm trying to figure out where they go, idc about lights and what not just need to know what wires to hook up where so I can start, glow, run, shutoff. I've got the 7 wires 2 red that are hooked together, red with green stripe, red with black or dark blue stripe, red with yellow stripe, violet, and green with white stripe. I have researched in places I thought I could find schematics on the web with no avail, violet wire seems to me to have something to do with glow plugs? Idk about the rest... Help please!

Hmm......not sure why this is happening. Which link are you having trouble with?
If all else fails, the information is here: Mercedes Service Manual Source, CD/DVD/Paper
