Another high miler
Reminds me of my 85 300D that had 470K on it. Both came from the same area. Strange! |

I would pay $350. Maybe a good car, but mileage and market in general say $500 tops. What do you think td?

I paid $800 for my high mileage '85, but that had alot more rust than was described. It drove like a car with 150,000 miles, I still couldn't resist.
If you are really serious, go drive it. If it drives up to your expectations, offer him some money. |

Just added an 85 SD to the stable (234K, no rust, VERY smooth). Need new seat bottoms up front. Do you know of anyone around that does that kind of work. I got one quote at $900 to repad both and new frame for one. Would be willing to pay about half of that.
