OM603 Pulsing on acceleration... Fuel?

My OM603 started to pulse under acceleration. If I back off a little on the peddle it goes away, if I try to give it more fuel it pulses again, like it's starving for fuel.

I took the heat exchanger out of the loop, and ran the fuel line directly to the lift pump with no change.

I pinched off the return line no change.

Changed both front fuel filters. no change.

Have no issue with fuel coming from tank...

I'm guessing ordering a new lift pump would be next?

I had same problem, its much more pronounced with the manual transmission since theres no torque converter to help dampen polses. I replaced leaking delivery valve seals and installed new Monark nozzles and the problem went away. I dont know which one of the two resolved the issue but it worked. My old nozzles were factory originals afik with 210k miles on them and the lift pump was changed 10k miles prior to this fix.

cool. well I bypassed the boot overload protection and also removed the Alda. Issue went away. Car is better now. Still no smoke even with alda off.... Really all I can do now it turn up pump or get one with bigger elements. Stock turbo is hitting at 17pound via my boost gauge, you can hear and feel it kick in. Still, a standard gasser would eat me....
