Talking I think I need professional help!! :)

I know it's a bit off topic, but it IS diesel related.

As some people know, I recently purchased a diesel tractor with brush hog to mow my entire property. Well, the purchase of this thing has created another need. I am in need of a push mower to take care of the "detail" work.

Well, I had a brainstorm. I've spent the better part of two days looking for vertical shaft, recoil start, air cooled, single cylinder diesel engines. I finally found a maker this evening - Deutz Diesel. Now, if the price is right, I will be looking for an old push mower with a dead gasser engine to toss and replace with one of these beauts!!

Yes, I'm looking into the possibility of building a DIESEL PUSH MOWER!!! I think that I'm getting just a *little* obsessed!

Trade it in on a VW Jetta Wagon TDI - unless my neighbours daughter is actually crazy enough to take over the payments on that car. Not that the payment is high, I'm just upside down on the value of the car.

No, the Golf is built in both Germany and Mexico. Justin's Golf TDI came from Germany. Unfortunately for the New Beetles, they are all brought in from Mexico.

We'll have to twist his arm a bit when the time comes. He has also had his car chipped to 110hp. It runs QUITE nicely!!!

Damn!

I called the distributor of the Hatz (I mentioned the wrong name yesterday) diesel engines. There will be no diesel powered push mower.

The starting price for the smallest one is $1300. I about choked when the sales person stated the price.

Oh well, maybe one will pop up on ebay.
