Coolant Hoses

Hi,

I was hoping for some help.

I have a 1984 300TD that at some point had a Lovecraft Biofuel conversion which I want out. It wasn't in use when I bought the car although fuel lines and coolant still flowed through it but I want to put everything back to stock.

I've re-routed the fuel lines back to the way they should be but the coolant lines are a hash of splices that have been cut in and diverted into the Lovecraft system and out the other end. I've worked out what should go where so I can pull the whole Lovecraft thing out but I need to buy new hoses.

I'm struggling to find the names of the actual hoses I need to order. Is there a diagram anyone is aware of with part numbers (awaiting a Haynes manual to arrive)

Many Thanks

Not familiar w/ Lovecraft, but I expect they just tapped into the heater hoses. If you can't find the factory hoses, it may be possible to find others with the correct bends. My 2002 T&C minivan w/ rear heat has 5/8" hoses with U-bends similar to by 300D's hoses that curve around the oil filter and mono-valve, so look like they could be made to work. But in my T&C, I recently replaced all the factory heater hoses w/ 5/8" silicone (lasts longer) and it made all the bends OK. It is more flexible. If you get the 3 or 4 ply version it is less likely to kink. I may try in my 300D's when the factory heater hoses age. Another possibility is molded silicone hoses, which tuners retrofit in recent cars. Check ebay.

Here is a list of 1981-1985 w123 300 series with auto climate control coolant hoses that I've gathered in the past.
