Broke hood hinge pin 85 300SD

Today after doing some work under the hood when I went to close the hood I heard something pop and could see quickly the driver side of hood mount bracket was wobbly and the hood would not close. On closer inspection I could see the main pin was broke it was riveted on from the factory. What I had to do was take off the plastic inner fender guard from underneath so I could get at the 4 (10 mm.) nuts holding the hood bracket on. I was able to fabricate a pin out of a bolt and can now close the hood. If possible could I buy the proper pin and rivet it on or would I have to buy the whole hood bracket with it already riveted on. The pin is 1" in length and is like a shoulder bolt the one part being 14mm. and the other part being 10mm. Have attached pictures of the pin.
