It FINALLY just hit me!
Lately, I haven't been impressed with my mileage I've been getting. It's nothing to complain about, but I know the car is capable of getting better. It was anywhere between 27mpg and 30 mpg. Since my last fill up I have noticed more power from the car and I have just under 3/4 of a tank left and I've got 160 miles so far. This is MUCH better than what I have been getting.
I was confused as to why this was... Then it occured to me... DIESEL 2! It's out of the winter season now, so they went back to Diesel 2. But any hoo, I am a very happy diesel driver!

Interesting...I thought they would have switched out of the winter blend before now.
Just wondering, what's the average temperature been around there?

It's been a weird spring here in Columbus, Ohio. We've had weeks where it's close to 80 then two days later there's a chance of snow. But lately it's been around 45 for the lows and about 70 for the highs. Those are the extremes. My preheat time is short and the idle speed is 750 at startup, so it's not cold at all for the car. I get my diesel at Meijer gas station, so probably not always the freshed... but I get 50 cent off coupons from my shopping AND it's 10 cents cheaper than the lowest octane gas they have there too!
Other stations probably went to Diesel 2 earlier, but they are the closest to me and easiest.
