W126 Sunroof repair, in need of new brackets.
Finally had some time today to start looking into the non working sunroof of my '90 300SE. It wouldn't open and was lifted half an inch up on the drivers side. I was hoping it was just jammed and it would need some lubrication to fix, but no such luck. Discovered that both brackets and the rain gutter were broken on multiple places. Someone must have put a lot of force on the sunroof to make it close.
I will head out to the junk yard tomorrow and see if I can score some good brackets. Are the brackets for both the W124 and gen 2 W126 the same?

Found two pair of good working brackets, all for $20.-. Plenty of W126 and W140's in the yard.

Nice find. New those parts were $200... then NLA... now they're $250 a side
