Hello Pelicans! Widely recognized as building the first automobile, Mercedes has always been a brand based on innovation and progression. We've put together a list (in no particular order) of what we think to be their "best" and most iconic cars.

The W123 or W126 are missing in that list, without these models Mercedes wouldn't have the reputation of the best and most reliable cars ever made.

In my top ten the 560 SEC 6.0 AMG would have a top spot. Before the SLR McLaren and the 500E, both were build with the help of other manufactures.

Karl Benz came up with an automobile - 130 years ago - the 1896.
Went down as a landmark invention - One could say a revolution in transport.
Hard to beat that one.

Then there's the prewar 540's
You have all seen the news reels on the pre WWII Party officials in 770 cars.

How about the revolutionary C111? and the T80.
