Proper procedure to replace vacuum modulator 92 300d

So after reading some threads I decided to order a new updated vacuum modulator and shift technologies kit for the valve body. I swapped fluid a while ago so i know room is tight. Do i need to lower the trans on the w124 chassis? Also where do i find the proper trans pressure spec to adjust the new modulator?

I haven't, but this thread may be helpful:
DIY W201 Transmission Modulator Removal, Replace, Trobleshooting & Common Problems - Mercedes-Benz Forum

From a web search: It looks like your transmission should be the 722.418 with the red or black modulator set to 47 psi (3.2bar).
