I ordered a new sensor because I read that it controls the tach (not working) and the tach controls the AC compressor (on an '85). I would love to see if the AC works because it's been over 100 here.

I tested this connection per the service manual (now I can't find it) and it was not within spec.

So my question is. Where is the other end? Some people say it's on the transmission, others say it's at the front by the crank/vacuum pump. Now I'm not sure I ordered the correct part.
