240d 1982 parking brake constantly adjusting
I have a 240d with about 320k miles. My driveway in on a slight decline and I need to click about 6-7 times for the parking brake to stop the car.
If I adjust the parking brake, I might get it to stop around 4 click but in a month I'm back 6-7 clicks. Do the rear parking shoes deteriorate(similar to dry rot) over the years? Should I get new rear rotor/drums and a set of new shoes? Any ideas? Thanks. pete |
