I can confirm that the nuts are copper coated -- I could pick them up with a magnet.

Thanks torsionbar for the info on reusing the original nuts with loctite and why NOT to use the steel nuts and lock washers.

Pelican confirms what I thought and AlecSD300 researched: this is the correct part number for the manifold nuts: 910113-010004
