For those adjusting coupe windows

first of all, what you've heard is true. the front windows on w123 coupes are a pain to adjust correctly.

I had a hell of a time and finally got it where I wanted it.

BUT, it was still catching the door seal at the front curved edge.

I had to do the routine of getting in rolling down then rolling back up.

yesterday I had a revelation. maybe its not the window but the old dried out seal.

I had some gummi seal protectant and I slathered it on the big door seal and voila.

door now closes without catching the seal and getting hung up.

so, if you've got the window where you want it, try lubricating the seal with some protectant if its the original seal

no big deal, just thought I'd share in case anybody was at their wit's end
