Has anyone removed a 300td wagon fuel tank

Any tips or tricks that would help. Did you need to take stabilizer off and disconnect the self leveling arm? I thought by removing the vacuum reservoir I would have room to push it back and squeeze by the self leveling and stabilizing bar
