I'm trying to track down multiple fuel leaks and I'm having some issues.
1) It's leaking from the back of the fuel filter housing where three lines connect. It seems to be leaking from the top most rubber line. if you remove the plate that (I think) retains those lines, it will just fall out. The O-rings are wasted.
I can't find a part number for those o-rings on any parts site, and Alldata is no help. Does anyone know a part number or size? Also, are the o-rings the same on all three of those lines?
2)Fuel is leaking from the shut-off valve, but it seems to be leaking from the top down. Are there o-rings in the connectors that are on top of the shut off valve that can be replaced?
3)My intake manifold and valves are SUPER gummed up with carbon. I've got the intake manifold and cross over tube soaking, but haven't addressed the head yet. My plan is to bar the motor over to each runner and make sure the valve is closed, spray in some type of solvent, and get busy with a nylon (or brass) pipe cleaner attached to a drill and then clean it up with compressed air.
Will I be able to bar the motor over if the glow plugs are still in? I think they are original and I don't want to get into all that.
I've already deleted the EGR, and I'm planning on running a catch can for the CCV system.
