Titan ATF 3353 alternative?

I’ve been using Titan ATF 3353 in my cars. I’m ordering it from pelican parts and of course it takes several days to get here. Since I’m going to have to drain the transmission fluid in my car I really don’t want to wait three days for new fluid to get here.

Can anyone recommend a readily available alternative or should I just stick with Titan?

For the purpose of a flush I'd use any brand Dexron, if the transmission is damaged from the radiator cooler leaking the best fluid will not help it and less expensive fluid will not do more damage.

If it runs OK after the flush then I'd put good fluid in.

Good luck!!! Please post the results.

I'm not sure I see the problem? If you know it takes 3 days to arrive, wouldn't you simply wait 3 days to drain the old fluid first, so you have the new fluid on hand? Of course you could also order a spare gallon or two to keep on the shelf, so you have it on hand next time you need it without waiting.

I've found the good fluids like Fuchs Titan ATF and Liqui Moly Leichtlauf High Tech engine oil are available only online, I don't even bother checking what the local stores carry any more.

Getting moisture out of the transmission as soon as possible is paramount, flush it with dextron and take it for a good long drive to evaporate any leftover moisture that may be in there. Dextron is a file ATF for these anyway.

Yea, sorry, I haven't done enough sleep lately. Dextron sounds like some futuristic robot trying to take over your transmission or something.
