84 300sd Headlight Switch and Brake Lights

I have a 1984 300sd and the headlight switch pretty much disintegrated as I pulled out to run the fog lights. I was going to ditch the switch all together and run toggles for everything, but I ended up getting a replacement switch. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of the wiring before I pulled it, and now Im having a hard time to get everything to work right. Anyone have a diagram for the headlight switch.

Seperate problem, my brakelights stopped working at the same time. the hazards work, but no brake lights. Checked the fuses and they look good. Do the brake light switches go bad typically.

Any help would be great.

See if you can find the wiring diagram.

It would be tricky to use toggles since there are mixed modes.

The brake lights only work with the key in ACC or RUN. The horn too. Peculiarity of German cars.

You can see the location of the brake switch so you trouble shoot it.

Thanks, My brake lights and signals are all good now, not really sure what was up with that. And I figured out my switch, almost. The wiring diagram kinda help, but I’m out one parking light i never use, so who cares. When it’s warmer I’ll sort it out.
