Meyle subframe mount don't fit 300d

Bought the Meyle subframe mount kit advertised as a fit for my 300d but there is no way there are going to fit the cast aluminum shell is just too big. Now I see people on the forum referencing others reporting fitment issues but I cannot find those posts they speak of.

Meyle is Chinese JUNK!!! You'll have to bite the bullet and get the genuine Mercedes subframe mounts.

Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

Am I missing something here. Why are they even being sold as a fit for 300d if there is no way in the world that they even come close to fitting in the subframe pocket?

Bad quality control, even IF it fit it would end up dilapidated in short order.

I'm going with a W124 Mercedes for my next car because suspension parts are FAR cheaper on the W124/W201/W202/W210 bodies.
