300TD under-dash panel?
I'm doing some work on an '85 wagon and noted when pulling it off that the driver's side knee panel has no screw holes and little plugs at the top, just spring clips - all but one of which were broken, and the last one gave up when I removed it. The dash has holes for the screws, and even the clip nuts, and the panel on the passenger side has screws like normal. What's up?

They probably lost the original screws.

No, there are no screw holes in the upper edge of the panel - it was made to clip on. But the dash has holes and clips for screws like the normal panel. Did these ever have driver's knee airbags?

That type of dash knee panels are usually found on early w123s.
