87 190D 2.5 overhaul?
OM602.911 getting long in the tooth..started pricing parts and, what the Sam Hill but pistons and a bunch of other OEM parts are NLA. Anyone have any idea what happened? What are folks doing come rebuild time? Om605? Been outta the loop for a couple years...any info much appreciated! THANKS!

I’m in San Francisco, a drop,in would be nice. But what happened to the OEM parts? They made a zillion OM60x engines. I know the rods have been made over a zillion times, like the pistons and prechambers, but holy cow, seems odd..

Yea parts are starting to dry up.
