95 E300D Good bluetooth sound for older cars
For those of you that don't check the audion section very ofter.
I posted this in the audio section Found an acceptable solution for bluetooth sound We really like the simple solution for music and better audio for phone navigation. |

From the factory it’s a blank plate over a switch hole. It’s not a switch. The LED isn’t from the factory either. The factory security LED is in the stereo face.

LED for alarm
Actually, that red LED right of the emergency flasher switch is an indicator for the anti-theft system. The manual says it's supposed to blink 15 seconds after the door or trunk is locked, but that does not happen on my E300 nor my father's E300. I have only seen it flash when the alarm is triggered.
And yes, there is a red LED that flashes on the factory radio faceplate when the car is locked. |

Someone took me out back and told me what’s what. Some cars don’t have an LED in the panel, most later cars do.
