I have had good luck with many Uro parts. As example, their set of door weatherstripping for my W123 was ~$150 vs $650 for the M-B brand (an IQ test?). Brands are often not the manufacturer, they just "put their name on it", meaning they certify it, which often means little today. In older days, noted manufacturers would stamp their brand on a part, meaning "as good as if we made it". Some parts require expensive setup, like die-cast aluminum parts, so hard to imagine more than one or two factories have invested in that. Besides China, often smart to avoid parts from India, preferring parts from Europe (incl. Turkey), Japan, and N. America. For my M-B, the most questionable new parts are the shutdown valve, monovalve, engine mounts, injector nozzles, and neutral safety switch, with most poor ones apparently being made in India.
