Subject - 1985 TD Wagen; Symptoms - tranny shifting late, feels very awkward and abrupt. Turbo spooling up per usual but motor not powering up with boost (banjo valve is clean and attached line both clean).
Is there a common vacuum part/function which could effect both of these (both symptoms appeared simultaneously)?
I have read about bad switchover valves and other posts in archives that would expalin tranny probs. and have found banjo valve and other inof. re: turbo performance, but have not found anything that would address both.
