300D turbo OM603 - fuel system basics

Hi, all!

I am wondering how hard it is to swap in an OM603 turbo into a gasser?

I'd like to get an understanding of the OM603 turbo basic fuel system and enrichment under boost as a starting point.

If one happened to have a complete engine with injection pump and turbo, what other parts are needed to sense boost and then actuate the IP to increase fueling accordingly?

Oh, and does the turbo have a wastegate? How does the OM603 control boost and so what parts will be needed for that?
