Purchased a 1985 300d. Have been taking it to a center in Cherry Hill but want to know if there's a recommended mechanic with w123 experience in the area.

95% of body shops do insurance work which means they are into the 'do it quick, dirty and fast then GET PAID' mentality. IMHO, one needs to visit the various body shops and carefully interview the owners/managers to find out just what type of operation they run. Only then will you find the gold nugget you are seeking.......
